Nancy Ajram the Lebanese singer and multi-platinum recording artist who is one of the popular supporters of Palestine cause.
*Considered by many as an Arabic music icon of the decade, Nancy was described on The Oprah Winfrey Show as one of the most influential personalities of the Middle East. She was similarly listed by Newsweek as one of the most influential Arabs. Nancy’s official Facebook page is the most subscribed female Arabic artist page on the social media network.
* In August 2004 Nancy Ajram has refused to accept a letter from three Israeli peace missions, who attended a private press conference she held before her concert at the Jordanian annual summer festival Jarash. The Israelis introduced themselves as part of a peace mission striving to find peace and security between Palestinians and Israelis, but all their attempts to make contact with people failed.
*In November 2009 Nancy Ajram revealed that she is willing to go on a mission to the Palestinian occupied lands since she had became an ambassador of “UNICEF” for the Middle East and Northern Africa. At the same time Nancy stressed that she refuses to go to Israel or any country that is an enemy to Lebanon and to the Arab world. She also stated that she is against “Normalization” with Israel.
* During the 2006 war between Israel and Hezbollah, Ajram came out in opposition to the Zionist’s violations and wrote a song about her feelings on the issue.
*During the 2014 Gaza imposed war, Ajram has also tweeted in support of the Palestinian people and asked her followers to pray for the innocent people who are dying in Gaza.
