111-11Israeli forces detained at least 25 Palestinians, including two parents, their six sons, and a journalist, in overnight raids in the occupied West Bank between Wednesday and Thursday, Israeli and Palestinian sources told Ma’an.

In the West Bank district of Ramallah, the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) said that Israeli forces detained eight members of the same family in the al-Amari refugee camp, sparking clashes in which four Palestinians were injured according to witnesses.

Clashes broke out at dawn between Palestinian youth and Israeli forces during the raid, the second one in as many days in al-Amari.

Israeli forces deployed heavily in the camp, closing all the entrances and stationing on the rooftops of Palestinian homes, from which they fired rubber-coated steel bullets, tear gas and sound bombs at Palestinian youths, who responded by throwing empty bottles and rocks.
