Jordanians-Take-to-the-Streets-4th-Week-to-Protest-Gas-Deal-with-IsraelProtesters raised banners and expressed their refusal to accept the gas deal with Israel, which it will provide Jordan with ‘stolen gas’.

The protesters chanted, “People want to end gas deal,” and “From South to North, the gas of the enemy is an occupation.” They criticized the new Jordanian Prime Minister, Hani Almilqi, adding, “Jordan is not for sale.”

Jordan and Israel signed a gas deal last month, which includes exporting 45 billion cubic meters of natural gas from Israel’s Liftan gas field off the coast of Haifa.
