The Israeli Daily Newspaper Yediot Ahranot published a report about a newly-formed Israeli female-led drones unit to monitor Gaza and Hamas leaders through installed screens connected to these drones.

Sky Riders are Israeli-American manufactured drones that could be flown from any place or rooftop at a  600-meter latitude, and use HD cameras for recording.

Yediot Ahranot noted that after nearly two years of the offensive on Gaza in 2014, the Israeli army is “preparing for the next confrontation with Hamas.”

According to the newspaper, an officer in the Israeli army claimed that “one or two drones crash every year, due to technical problems and not because of Hamas fighters.”

The officer noted that the Israeli army is working on enhancing the capabilities of these drones flying over Gaza
