The Hamas Movement has strongly denounced the government of Rami al-Hamdallah for its statement on the situation in the Gaza Strip, describing its remarks as “inflammatory and full of inaccuracies.”

In a press release on Tuesday, Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri said the government’s remarks reflected its hostile position against the Hamas Movement and its rejection of the national consensus.

The government of al-Hamdallah claimed in a press release on Tuesday that Hamas has insisted since the formation of the unity government to put obstacles in its way to prevent it from doing its job, denying that it avoided its responsibilities in Gaza.
