The second Turkish aid convoy arrived in Gaza today when a ship carrying Turkish aid to Gaza docked in the Israeli port of Ashdod.

The convoy arrived in Gaza through the Israeli-controlled Karim Abusalem Crossing.

The first convoy arrived in Gaza in July after Turkey and Israel reached a reconciliation deal that ended the Turkish-Israeli diplomatic crisis that resulted from Israel’s attack on the Gaza-bound Turkish aid flotilla, the Mavi Marmara, in 2010.

Israel said today that Holland will help build a gas line in the Gaza Strip which will be used to run a power plant. Turkey is also planning to assist in the Gaza Strip to solve the continuing power outage crisis.
